10 Best Lactation Supplements For Busy Mom’s

Yes, I know, we should be eating a complete and healthy diet to supplement our bodies and milk supply.

Although, I have to say, when I was working full time with my business and had a 3 month old that was basically draining me (literally), I didn’t have all the time in the world to food prep amazing meals to supplement everything that my body needed.

I was a personal trainer who was SUPPOSED to be the best at this whole eating right thing.

Now, I’m not saying I went out to McDonald’s, but I also wanted sleep too, and so to say, I didn’t prep EVERY meal.

So, on top of my REGULAR healthy diet, I used lactation supplements.

And I’m not ashamed to say that!

What I do suggest though, is if you think you may have a low milk supply to contact your physician or a lactation consultant, before you self-diagnose and read Reasons For Low Milk Supply & 5 Amazing Foods For Lactation.

Out of the 10 Best Lactation Supplements For Busy Mom’s, I will say that I have tried MOST of them.  The one’s I have not tried, I did extensive research on them to figure out why they would be worth a shot at trying. The supplements that I have not tested but have listed, I will note that I have not tried them.

(This post probably containers affiliate links, so if you want to read our boring full disclaimer policy, you can read all of it HERE.)

What I Learned With Lactation Supplements

Your Boobs Don’t Become Waterfalls

Unfortunately I do have to state that it won’t be happening overnight ladies.  It will probably take a couple of days of staying consistent with supplementation and stimulation.

Trial & Error

Even though many of these supplements contain similar ingredients to help induce milk production, not one is made for everyone.

So, your best bet will be to try one supplement and look at how your milk production has changed over the time trial.

Below, I’ve listed out different avenues of supplementation from cookies to liquid drops!

Please feel free to comment below on what supplements also worked best for you!!
